Surely we are too familiar with products such as calorie-free, sugar-free soft drinks and other sweet things . Those products are actually calorie-free, but is it really good to use products with artificial sweeteners?
Synthetic sweeteners (also known as artificial sweeteners) are substances that are not found in nature, mainly synthesized from organic and inorganic substances in the plant: often have a very high sweetness compared to sucrose sugar. If you regularly eat a lot of artificial sweeteners, it can cause impaired digestive function, irritate the intestinal lining, make it difficult to absorb nutrients, and can even affect kidney function. In addition, using dietary sugar can distort the body’s ability to sense energy in food, bringing unpredictable consequences.
Certain sweeteners can influence the brain to alter taste perception and imbalance in hormone production. For example, Sucralose reduces the activity of the amygdala, the part of the brain involved in taste perception. Aspartame alters the body’s natural production of hormones, increasing both appetite and cravings for sweets. Artificial sweeteners when combined with other “low-carb” foods will inadvertently increase the amount of food you eat. People often mistakenly believe that because they don’t consume calories, they have the right to eat as much artificial sweetener as they want. That is also the reason why weight loss plans are laid out all fail.
We recommend cutting back on sweeteners overall, whether they contain calories or not. Combine a reasonable diet with a regular exercise schedule. If you consume in a reasonable way, there will be no problem.
